The Information Technology sector ranks second out of the 10 sectors in the first quarter of 2015 and receives our Neutral rating. The Tech sector as a whole outperformed the S&P 500 in last year, rising 17% to the S&P’s 12%. It was the third best-performing sector last year behind the Health Care and Utilities sectors. While this is a solid run-up, there’s still plenty of value here for investors that play their cards right.
