Our Most Attractive and Most Dangerous Strategies Outperform the Indexes Again
Every month, we release our 40 Most Attractive and our 40 Most Dangerous stocks with 20 large cap and 20 small cap stocks for each. These lists offer our subscribers multiple strategies to outperform in good and bad markets.
Especially when it came to small caps and shorts in in the first quarter of 2015, we delivered stock picks that, by and large, outperformed their benchmarks and major indexes for our subscribers. As of April 8, 2015:
- Our small cap short strategy beat the short Russell 2000 by 12% year to date
- Our small cap long/short strategy beat the risk-free-rate by 9%
- Our large and small cap short strategy beat the short S&P 500 and Russell 2000 by 3%
These strategies (and others) have beaten their benchmarks by much more since their inception in January 2005. Since inception, our large and small cap long strategy has returned 10% annualized vs. just 7% for the S&P 500 and Russell 2000.
