The category receives our Unattractive rating, which is based on aggregate ratings of 85 ETFs and 375 mutual funds in the Mid Cap Blend style as of January 26, 2026. Figure 1 ranks from best to worst the Mid Cap Blend ETFs and Figure 2 shows the best and worst rated Mid Cap Blend mutual funds. Not all Mid Cap Blend style ETFs and mutual funds are created equal. The number of holdings varies widely (from 21 to 3,440). This variation creates drastically different investment implications and, therefore, ratings.
