Mark Zuckerberg looks to reshape the AI landscape with the announcement of Meta’s new Superintelligence Labs. The initiative reflects Meta’s deepened commitment to artificial general intelligence (AGI), with reported infrastructure spending reaching $14 billion annually.
While Meta has not formally outlined the team’s objectives, its focus is expected to center on the development of AGI systems capable of advanced reasoning and autonomy.
The announcement helped extend recent momentum in the AI sector, with the Nasdaq gaining nearly 2% during the shortened trading week.
As the focus on AGI grows so does the importance of endowing the AI with the deep subject matter expertise required to reliably perform very complex tasks. Yet amid the rapid advancements and hype around generative AI, investors need to be mindful that AI, like any other model, is only as good as its input, i.e. training data. Reliable AI begins with high-quality data to drive an ontology that works. Otherwise, you get hallucinations.
We’ve trained our AI agent, aka the Robo-Analyst, for over more than 20 years and have unrivaled experience and success in teaching machines to produce idiosyncratic stock market alpha based on data that no one else understands, e.g. footnotes and unstructured data. In other words, our AI Agent truly works better than anything else in the marketplace. We have empirical evidence to back that claim from this paper from Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan, and the outperformance of the Bloomberg indexes here and here.
Our AI agent produces proprietary signals for picking stocks that beat the market, and we are here to share them with you.
