60 million households tuned in to Netflix (NFLX) for the live Tyson vs Paul event last Friday, which drove the company’s stock up around 11% in just the past five days.

Another surging asset, Bitcoin, traded near its all-time high, ~$100,000, on Friday. In the past month, it is up around 47%. Those of you who follow our Danger Zone picks have seen us warning about many other stocks whose valuations look increasingly ridiculous.

We remain very wary of the market at these levels.

That said, we are still bullish on certain stocks and funds. This week’s Long Idea features a mutual fund with quality asset allocation and below average total annual costs, yet it has a cheap valuation.

On the flip side, our Danger Zone pick is a company that has no real competitive advantages in a crowded industry. We don’t believe this company can reverse years of unprofitability and become the market share leader as its stock price implies.

Also, this week marks the end of 3Q24 filing season. We parsed 2,917 filings and created $2.6 million of value for clients during this filing season. We work hard to give our clients the highest quality research with 100% transparency, which is hard to come by nowadays.

We’re proud to announce we ranked #1 in multiple stock-picking categories on SumZero once again this month, which marks the 42nd consecutive month in which we placed #1 in several categories.

On the Model Portfolio front, we published the latest Safest Dividend Yields Model Portfolio. We also featured a stock in our Most Attractive Stocks Model Portfolio and featured a stock in our Most Dangerous Stocks Model Portfolio.
