The Financial sector ranks tenth out of the 10 sectors for the first quarter of 2015 and receives our Dangerous rating. The Financial sector as a whole outperformed the S&P 500 in 2014, rising about 14% to the S&P’s 12%. It was the fifth best performing sector in 2014. As we move into 2015, the global economy along with the actions of the Federal Reserve and Reserve banks across the world will dictate how the financial sector performs.
