The Mid Cap Value style ranks sixth out of the twelve fund styles detailed in our 2Q24 Style Ratings for ETFs and Mutual Funds report. Last quarter, the Mid Cap Value style ranked eighth. The category receives our Neutral rating, which is based on aggregate ratings of 12 ETFs and 115 mutual funds in the Mid Cap Value style as of April 17, 2024. Figures 1 and 2 show the five best and worst rated ETFs and mutual funds in the style. Not all Mid Cap Value style ETFs and mutual funds are created equal. The number of holdings varies widely (from 20 to 675). This variation creates drastically different investment implications and, therefore, ratings.
