When did you change the membership level for the most attractive stock portfolio access? I will cancel my membership if this requires a unlimited membership!

Thanks for writing.
We changed the membership as of Jan 1. We sent out several emails as well.
We are no longer offering the old Gold, Platinum and Pro membership, though existing clients are being grandfathered in and can keep their memberships. They are not being terminated at this time.
And, they remain the same for now, except that they no longer provide access to Long Ideas, Danger Zone Idea, Macro research or Model Portfolios.

As a long time “Pro” subscriber I can only say that I truly love the product and find tremendous value in what your team does. However, I am shocked and saddened by the abrupt change which would require a 10 fold increase in the price of my subscription to maintain the same access. Sending out a few emails weeks before a major change in your pricing strategy is not exactly what I would consider high quality customer service. While the marginal cost of servicing my relationship with your firm is approximately zero, your message to me is clear. “Leave or pay up. We don’t really care” Maybe I will…it might be worth it but you have not really given me any time to decide. New Constructs has a quality product, but you have made it abundantly obvious that you don’t really care about me and the people I serve.

Our main goal with the subscription change is to charge appropriate prices for our research.
We have certain customers that pay us $10K+ per month and our product packaging has not been well constructed or communicated.
We’re making lots of changes to provide better service.

After that, we are happy to work with you to get you into a subscription that you’re comfortable with.
