For anyone who questions whether or not the rules of the game are controlled by those wuith the most money not the most ability, look no farther than Wall Street’s compensation.

As reported in the Wall Street Journal’s Wall Street Pay: A Record $144 Billion, Wall Street is expected to pay a record amount in compensation and benefits while many portions of our society struggle to make ends meet. Does Wall Street create enough value to deserve what it gets paid…I do not think so. What was once a business that facilitated the rational allocation of capital to its highest and best use is now merely a parasite on the capital markets. Don’t get me wrong, it is hard to blame them as they are very wealthy parasites. However, as I posted recently Easy Money Corrupts.
