Is STRT in the same category? Supposedly, results were below estimates, but that appears to be inaccurate. Is it a better buy now than it was before the plunge last week?

Frank,
Strattec beat on both earnings and revenue (though we don’t put much stock in companies’ reported earnings). The reason for the sell-off is unclear, though the company noted an extended shutdown period for some Chrysler plants that will negatively impact sales in the coming quarter. If true, this is a temporary concern.
While we’ll need to wait for the release of the company’s full quarterly report to assess the impact on our rating, STRT still earns our Very Attractive rating at the moment. This rating is based on the most recently released quarterly report with the SEC, filed in November. The company looks to be cheaper than ever relative to its strong financials.
